The company was very responsive, both when answering my questions before ordering, and in sending a replacement strap when I discovered the top strap didn't quite fit my Gaviota 5 Hoka. I've only worn the brace twice so far, but it appears well made, supportive, and exactly what I was hoping for to help support activities like hiking and pickleball. Thank you Tayco!

I have a chronic ankle condition and while the larger TayCo brace worked just, the athletic brace is a bit smaller and allows for dorsi/plantar flexion, but great lateral stability. It makes my walking around easier at work. It’s a great product after a week of use. I’m very happy with it.

Hi I believe it was back in sept of 24 I ordered a brace from you and found it to be better than the one I had built from a prescription I then felt the need for a second one and ordered one with Kelly on the phone she is very pleasant and helpful unfortunately after a few wearings a hinge screw fell out and I called hoping to get a replacement screw spoke with Kelly a second time and to my surprise she explained that she would send a replacement brace again she was kind and professional I’m waiting for the replacement to arrive any day now so I’ll have one for my work boots and one for home use please take care of Kelly the same way she took care of me she is a valuable asset to your company so many businesses act as if they are doing you a favor letting you spend your money with them this is not the case with your company thank you to Kelly

I have quite an ankle brace collection for my left ankle. I believe the search is over and this brace is the solution. With its design being outside the shoe it solves the problem of foot irritation that other braces caused. Used it whole I officiate basketball and it was great.

Got my daughter back on the volleyball court after a grade 3 sprain that has hampered her for months. Saw it on Quin Ewers and thought it was worth a shot. She’s playing in a travel tournament this weekend, so it’s a huge success!

Hi, I haven’t used it yet. Still can’t put weight on ankle. Couple more weeks.

No better than my $30 brace

My very weak left ankle cannot handle the rigors of mountaineering without a brace. Internal braces change how the shoe or boot supports the rest of my foot, causing its own problems. My cool new La Sportiva climbing boots simply are too narrowly constructed to put a brace inside. Hooray for finding TayCo! Their outside the boot brace is exactly what I needed. It goes on simply, is super secure, and doesn’t mess with the structural support built into a boot or shoe. Thanks!

The brace greatly helps to support my ankle, which needs replacement.I have it in the full motion mode and the support is fine.There is slight pressure on the ankle where it is always swollen.

I'm gonna start this review off pretty ugly.....This brace is poorly made with inferior products. IT'S PLASTIC!. Not any steel anywhere in it's construction. It's doomed for failure and at $200 bucks I expected better. The hinges will fail first.
Now, for some history. I've needed an ankle brace for 38 years because of paralysis and the Orthotic manufacturers are imbeciles. The best ankle brace I ever had was an off the shelf model that I modified, but they quit making that product. This product won't work on my boots correctly and I had limited success with a pair of tennis shoes, but the piss poor padding of the brace made that experiment fruitless. This brace seems to be shoe specific and I'm gonna search out a pair of shoes that will work....I'm gonna keep this brace and work with it, but my ultimate review decision is that the quality of construction of this brace sucks! It needs stainless steel stays and hinging system....
I'd be happy to consult with your on your product Improvement and I think it would improve the product...

Used the brace today for the first time and thrilled with the result. I have had 18 surgeries on my left and have a total replacement. Was about to give up on playing golf due to the pain. Was able to play 18 holes and keep the pain down. Will be ordering another just to make sure I always have one. Thank you

Just got it set up and did some walking with it .
Feels solid on foot and comfortable too.

Better instructions would have been nice. Also unsticking the Velcro from the packaging was horrible!
But so far it helps, I’m curious how long it will be since he uses it for basic walking.

I bought this for my husband. He loves it, he is able to flex his ankle while walking and it gives him stability.

I have been looking for a brace that will hold my ankle straight but easy to put on and off. After receiving this brace, I feel I am walking faster and have more confidence I can get faster. It is amazing and has enabled me to make more progress in my stroke recovery efforts.

The brace served my purpose in that it allowed me to wear my hunting boots while pheasant hunting. However, given that the issue with the ankle was soft tissue Achilles injury. It did not accelerate the healing, but it did allow me to push through the issue and enjoy two extra days of hunting.

All in all bit works well. Not always easy to get on or off, but does the job. I like the hingel part that allows the ancle to flex more than a wrap.

Saw a sideline reporter on a college football game explaining it. Ordered for my husband with bad ankle it fit perfectly and allows him to bend the ankle/foot with stability Thanks!

It is difficult to know if I have e the brace on correctly. The first strap button on the out side hurts my foot and I cannot figure out why.

I have CMT and bought these braces to help with ankle stability. I need braces for both ankles. They are easier for me to manage and more comfortable than my in the shoe braces. I will say I originally ordered the RecoveryX braces and was sent the AthleticX braces. But after speaking with customer service I decided to keep the ones I received and was promptly refunded the difference. I have been wearing them every day and I can tell a difference in my ease of walking plus I don’t seem to be walking on the side of my foot any longer. So far I am very pleased with these braces.

My daughter loves her new TayCo brace. She can finally wear a brace on her ankle that allows her to run and move like normal.

I can now walk with little pain and greater distances. I’m 69 and have osteoporosis. Brace is giving me a little bit of freedom back.

This able brace is a very well thought out design and functions for me exactly how I hoped it would.

Nice support without rubbing!

The brace I ordered was excellent quality. Unfortunately it didn’t work for what my wife needed. Customer service is awesome.
