Best ankle brace I've ever had only thing I don't like about it is the bottom stirup is annoying to adjust with no help but besides that it's perfect giving everything I need in a brace.

I purchased my brace for my right ankle over pronation. It seems to help stabilize the ankle roll, but takes some getting used to having it on. Overall I think it helps with my ankle pain.

I was skeptical about ordering this brace as my ankle is bone on bone vs recovering from an injury. It is more comfortable than I thought it would be and reduces the pain and grinding I experience especially with lateral movement. I have used it for kickboxing classes along with barre classes and weight lifting. I have not yet worn it for outside walks. Need to get some regular athletic socks vs no show socks. It fits nicely over my sport/tennis shoes. This brace will help keep me active until I get an ankle replacement after ski season. FYI the elastic brace I was wearing and the lace up I attempted to wear create awful pressure points inside my shoes. I plan to share this info with my podiatrist as well as my orthopedic surgeon. I have right foot drop. I can't wear traditional AFOs because I have hypertension in my knees. Regular AFOs kick my knees back, I cannot walk.
I thought this brace might work and it does!
It limits my ankle movement enough to keep my foot from flopping.
I'm thrilled I can wear it with the shoes I wear most.

I’ve purchased this brace in the past . My son is a 6ft 1inch and 270 lbs football player and he has flat feet with no support on right . He normally gets his ankled rolled every season but since I purchased brace he has not had a problem. Definitely better than getting taped. He said he was making a tackle and someone landed on ankle if not for brace he believes his ankle might have broken . Instead of missing season he was out one play to check brace.

After having a torn Achilles tendon and trying numerous braces I finally found the one! It has given me back the ability to play pickleball again. The ease of over the shoe wearing along with the support of a lightweight brace is key for active recovery. I would highly recommend to anyone needing, but questioning which one.

I’ve been using the brace for only a few weeks as my physical therapy will soon be over - very little activity as my broken ankle continues to heal and get stronger - looking forward to putting it to the “test” in November on a hunting trip to the mountains of Virginia - I really think it will make a big difference and will give me confidence while climbing some pretty steep terrain - if I can still climb to my favorite deerstand on top of BullPasture Mountain I will give the brace “ 10 stars” - will soon find out ?

I was struggling with PTTD apparently caused by a fallen arch. I did PT for months and only wore orthopedic shoes. I had lost my ability to walk any distance. Even with improvement, a walk through the grocery store required days of recovery.
The recoverX gave me immediate mobility. After a few months of daily use I suddenly realized that my pain was gone. I no longer wear it around the house but I do wear it everywhere I go.

This particular. Selection I made. Is pretty rugged. It is a good product but I need to look at more of the selection for the different types of work that I do that will help me on my job sites. When I'm at different locations. I have a service connected injury. Due to 5 back surgeries. I have been losing the strength in my legs due to. Lack of flexibility in that left leg. Because of the recent purchase of this product. It is actually. Firing again and strengthening. Fatiguing. Hope to have more information as time goes on. Would really love to do a marathon again.

I've tried all of the braces, tapes, and wraps I could to help keep my surgically repaired ankle from rolling for years. And good luck finding anything I could also comfortably wear with my foot drop brace.
Since wearing the Tayco brace, I've noticed a tremendous reduction in daily swelling and fatigue. Allowing me time to actually rebuild and strengthen my ankle without as much required daily healing.
I cannot recommend this over the shoe brace enough!

Recovering from tears in peroneal tendons in my ankle, and PRP injection. PT put me in a Breg lace/strap brace for use when golfing or walking on uneven surfaces, which was very helpful. After several hours, though, it was pretty uncomfortable. I saw this brace on FB multiple times, and finally looked into it. Reviews and videos looked good, price was very affordable compared to custom orthotics, so I gave it a try. I really was thrilled. Stability is great, while maintaining up and down ankle movement. After a round of golf, I hardly know it's there. My wife is a PT, and was impressed, as well. I would highly recommend this product.

I,m wearing it every day, getting used to it. My situation is different because I have a dropped foot with ankle and foot fusion. Takes time to put on. Customer service
Is excellent. The only think I noticed is band one and two are mislabeled and written in error on the small booklet. Same with band tree and four.
Other than that everything is good.

I actually purchased this brace for my sister. She had an ankle replacement about five years ago and has gotten along well with it until recently when she began to feel pain in her ankle and foot. She suffers from several other issues, including RA. She has periodically worn a molded boot in hopes of relieving some of the pain. She has worn the new brace for approximately 1 - 2 weeks and says it’s much more comfortable and she has commented that it fits nicely and is much more comfortable. Most of her pain has subsided and we pray that will continue!

I have only worn the brace for a couple of days. Unfortunately, I have noticed no difference between wearing it and not wearing it. I don't know if it is because of the type of boot that I wear, but I feel no additional support.
I am going to try it with a lighter shoe and see if that makes a difference.

I recently purchased the Tayco Recover X Brace to wear instead of my very uncomfortable AFO. The Recover X Brace is super comfortable and easy to put on and gives me the stability of my AFO. My weak ankle is a result of Guillan Barre syndrome. I could not walk on uneven ground without risking a fall. I feel safe again! I may get one for my left ankle and try to golf again soon!
