Haven't been able to use the brace yet, waiting for longer straps to go over the top of my shoe, but otherwise it looks like a good fit and will help me be able to walk farther than in my walking boot.
This brace is cheaply made. The quality of the product and materials used to make the brace are plastics that could easily bend and break. This brace is too expensive for the price. The brace is probably worth only 50% of the price (at most). Brace is not good for neurological conditions at all. This is an athletic brace for someone that can run and move about. I do not recommend for patients that have had strokes, spinal cord injuries, or anything of that nature because the brace isn’t sturdy enough or made to withstand the pressure that will be put on it. You will still need a customized AFO to use with it. Therefore, the is no use for the brace. I give this brace 2 stars because it’s not worth the price at all. If it was decently priced, then maybe I wouldn’t scored it higher, but I do not recommend.

I have been dealing with drop foot for the last 5 years. The brace that I've been using is built into my shoe. The TayCo brace allows me the opportunity to wear any foot wear I want!! It's also very easy to put on and adjust. Thanks so much!

I sprained my ankle playing tennis. The brace was shipped in a timely fashion…fits good and easy to put and off. The over the shoe design is so much better than the one I’ve been wearing that didn’t fit well with my shoes. Because of the support I think they are going to help me get back to court sooner.

Due to a back injury I have developed peripheral neuropathy in my lower legs and lost side to side control of both ankles. The Tayco Athletic X Braces let me walk on uneven ground and prevent my ankles from rolling over, which was almost impossible without the braces. The braces are easy to put on and light weight. I hardly know I have them on other than the fact that they provide me with the confidence to walk on uneven terrain without the fear of falling over.

The best available brace on the market. I fractured my ankle 9 months ago and never want to go through that again! The Tayco Easy On AthleticX Brace have stopped my ankle from rolling a few times already and I would never do any sports activities without it again. It works good, doesn't restrict mobility and best of all, it works unlike any other brace out there! Their customer service is very responsive and will pick up their phone or call you back and answer all of your questions fast.

I have peroneal tendinitis and have tried at least a half dozen ankle braces, but none have given me the support I needed to take force off my ankle. I have been wearing my Tayco brace for a week. (Initially, strap 1 was too short, but customer service was incredibly responsive in getting me a replacement.) It is easy to put on and take off, and I feel much more secure wearing it. Played gold yesterday with no problems. Highly recommend.

This RecoverX brace was exactly what I needed when transitioning from a CAM boot to ankle brace. I can lock it to prevent ankle movement or, now that I’ve been approved to strengthen foot muscles and transition to full weight bearing, I can unlock it for full mobility. In these early transitioning days, I need the support, but I also need the mobility of the unlocked brace. And it’s so much more convenient, as it fits over any shoe! I love it!

If you have a problem with the brace, call TayCo! - great customer service. I had trouble setting up my brace for the first time, then kind of messed up two straps, but after talking with TayCo the next day, it will be okay.
I was able to try the brace and was impressed. I'm not used walking almost normal (drop-foot) but I felt pretty secure and able to walk without wobbling. I think it's going to help more than anything else I've tried in the past!

Bought this for my daughter as she was returning to sports from a fibula fracture. Allows for full range of motion, but protects from rolling & breaking again.

My husband has foot drop and neuropathy. We have had custom braces made at about 5× the price of the TayCo brace and he says it is a lot more comfortable and gives him better support then the expensive brace.

I bought the brace to eliminate the chance of rolling my ankle after total ankle replacement surgery. I have another brace which fit inside a shoe but it wax uncomfortable. The TayCo brace which fits over the shoe is extremely comfortable while providing the stability and resistance to rolling that is required. I use the brace for both backpacking and tennis

Top strap came unglued where the Tayco logo is at . Need the toe strap to be about 2-3 inches longer barely goes across my boot with not much velcro securing it .

Good material and easy to follow instructiins with the videos that were provided to me via text since I couldn't figure it out myself.
It keeps your ankle and leg in place in the locked position. The only rrason I gave it 4 stars is because the brace plastic strap on bottom does not fit on my Hoka Bondi shoes due to a wide heel base on the shoe so I had to switch shoes.

This ankle brace is not the usual flimsy ankle wrap. This brace provides great support for your injured ankle, with the added benefit of fitting over your shoe which provides you with the ability to maintain your normal stepping pattern. I sprained my ankle about 5 years ago and it has been getting progressively worse. This brace has greaatly reduced the pain associated with everyday walking. I am very pleased with this product (the Recovery model), and would recommend.
