Easy, excellent, awesome.

I’ve been using this ankle brace after an injury, and it’s been a game-changer for getting back into running. It offers great stability without feeling restrictive, allowing me to move freely with dorsi flexion and plantar flexion while still feeling supported. The brace fits well over whatever trainers I am wearing that day. It’s also comfortable, without the restrictive feel of a compression or lace up brace, while still maintaining stability for the lateral tendon issues I’ve had since my injury. Overall, it’s the perfect balance of support and comfort, and I feel ready to take on more mileage, which I didn’t think would be possible ! Highly recommend it for anyone needing ankle support.

this is about the best brace I have had. Needs a little more padding near ankle bone on inside and where taller side rub my legs. Am working on padding. If u have suggestions they are welcome

I bought this because I have Charcot foot disability. My foot is always turning on it's side and I'm walking on my ankle. This helps keep my foot in the upright position and has been a big help.

The TayCo brace is very well thought out, engineered and finished beautifully. I t was comfortable everywhere except where I have a metal plate and seven screws in my ankle from a skiing accident last winter. Not sure it will work for me but would highly recommend for anyone needing ankle support

Meets and exceeds my needs. I use it to keep from rolling over on my left foot while walking. Better than custom carbon AFO with struts that go inside shoe and wore blisters. Love this product, Thanks

I've tried every ankle brace I can find. This is without a doubt the best!!

Very easy to put on and take off! Fits all my shoes and boots, I don’t need to squash a lace up brace in the shoe. Works great with a taped ankle for extra support. Much more flexible front-to back than a lace-up brace.

This brace allows the foot to move up & down for walking but prevents sideway collapse. Fitting to the shoe verses to the foot is better allowing easy on and off of the same shoes normally worn.

Walking Boot and AFO Alternative - RecoverX Brace

I broke my ankle 3.5 months ago and was non weight bearing for a good portion of that time. Now that I'm able to begin walking and switching between a boot and my shoe, the boot that the doctor gave me was really starting to agitate my foot. I felt that it was doing more harm than good. My foot felt a lot better in a shoe, but my ankle needed some extra support. I was doing a lot of online research for other options when I found this Tayco AthleticX Brace. I went with the Athletic Brace because I felt that I would like the ability of it to fit over hiking boots, etc. It gives my ankle enough extra support that I'm completely comfortable walking on uneven ground in campgrounds, my yard, etc. With just a shoe, my ankle was swelling like crazy and getting sore. With this brace, the swelling is almost gone and soreness is at a minimum. I'm not to the point of doing long hikes, but I'm sure it'll be perfect for that once I am healed enough!

This product is well made, supportive, and easy to put on and take off. It seems sturdy.

The brace fit perfectly, was easy to fit, I did it myself. I’ll be wearing it for six weeks to restore the alignment of my foot and ankle. The swelling in my began yo resolve within 48 hours. In addition, the idea of sending pix to verify proper fit is spot on!!!

I have chronic ankle instability, but still want to be active. After trying multiple ankle braces on the market, none of them gave me the support I needed to hike and play with my family. The AthleticX from TayCo is a complete game changer. The brace is super comfortable, lightweight and really easy to put on. I am able to walk, hike and run with ease now! Thank you so much!

I sprained my ankle while trail running and thankfully found this brace. It is the most supportive brace I've ever worn but is still super comfortable. I ran a trail race with it last weekend!

I wore the previous version of this brace, and this one is SO much better. It's much lower profile and I barely can tell I'm wearing it, but yet I still have incredible support

Overall, quite good. Far lighter, more comfortable, and less cumbersome than the Aircast I used before. The pad on the inside was pressing on my ankle, so I had to trim that back a bit. The velcro seems unnecessarily complicated (and long, in most cases). Might be easier to just use one piece of double-sided velcro (hook on one side, loop on the other).

The recovery brace has been wonderful. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It was very easy and quick to put on over my shoe. The best thing I like about the recovery brace is that nothing goes in your shoe with your foot, its all outside your shoe. Its light weight and easy to wear all day. It adds support to my arch area and is helping my tendon to heal. Great brace…. Thanks

The brace works well and I love being able to wear both shoes. My old walking boot created hip pain due to an unsteady gait. I found the enclosed instructions vague (how to adjust the hinge), but found an informative video instruction to view. One suggestion I would make is to include extra foam pieces. I needed to cushion an area under a buckle.

My issue is the straps on the brace. They are not user friendly. The one on my new brace are too long and cutting them removes the sticky parts. I am going to order some shorter braces from Amazon when I can.One has no square metal anchor and I must just wrap it around the ankle. Also the excess part snags long pants. I am sure this is an easy fix, but I have macular degeneration and cannot see the straps easily and am working my feel somewhat. I have not done the adjustments for the motion range yet as again I cannot see well, so I am waiting for my son to come help me. Otherwise, I wam VERY impressed with this brace. I have about 5 braces. 4 from Amazon and one custom made which do not work. Your brace I can wear with my own shoes. My doctor was very impressed and spoke about the brace to all his online doctor friends. The work is spreading about this brace. I loved the fact that any shoe will work, it is very lightweight and does not chafe or rub like someothers. Getting it on seem the only issue for me as I live alone and have no help. Reaching it is also difficult as I have some back issues also. I wish it fit a bit deeper from heel to toe area. I hope I ordered the right size. How would I know, please? I was hoping Medicare Advantage Insurance I have would cover the cost, but that is unlikely from my communication and the doctors efforts, so I just put it on a new credit card myself. I am traveling out of the country next month and I believe this will allow me to enjoy my trip and get around so much easier so I will not get left behind like some other outtings. Any advice on what I have mentioned would be appreciated. Oh,how can I order a replacemen strap that goes under the shoe as I see that will get a lot of wear and tear and do not want a broken strap while on my trip.
