I have two Tayco ankle braces - the sport model and the rehab model. The rehab model provides more support, but the sport model is easier to wear. However, both braces are not able to correct for pronation or supination problems. Have you ever considered inserts to help with this? Thank you! William Root

After three months from a broke tibia and fibula I purchased the recovery brace that yall recommended so far so good. After a week I’m able to walk still have a long ways to go but your brace has helped with the process ❤️

This brace is the best!!! I have not had a problem walking with the brace, in fact this is the first time walking with no pain in years. I didn’t have an issue attaching my shoe to the brace. I’m planning a Thanksgiving trip to visit family far away and I don’t an issue walking through airports. Thank you for a great product!!!

I had a 5th metatarsal Jones fracture, and after recovery, struggled with pain anytime I partially rolled up on the outside of my foot. The Tayco brace keeps me from rolling up onto the outside of my foot, and I am able to participate in sports without any worry.

This brace is easy to put on (after doing it a few times). I’ve worn it for five days and there is already a significant reduction in pain.
I walk my dog 5 miles a day, so I’ve walked 25 miles with the brace on so far. I wasn’t confident that the strap that goes under my shoe would hold up, but it has. It’s a bit scuffed up, but I don’t see any wear or damage to it. It would be nice if this part could be replaced if necessary, but so far so good.

This brace has helped me so much! I am a horticulturist and walk on a lot of uneven ground which triggers old injuries from sports to flare up. I also wear the brace when I’m out on trails hiking. The only thing I would change or add to this brace is a bit more padding along the inner ankle area. Where I find there is some friction.

This brace is definitely a game changer. I can’t tell you how many braces I have bought. My daughter refused to wear them due to not feeling comfortable in her cleats. The brace has gotten her back out on the field playing 100% and feeling stabilized instead of hesitant.

The brace start off good then, over time. It wears out is meant not to be worn all the time. I had 3 of these braces and it keeps occurring the same problem on the left inside. We got great customer service and they click to fix it by shipping out another product. But the product itself is cheap.\n They sent me a athletic ex. Now that material is good, but the brace is not the same as the other one. If this material was, on the other brace, they would have a winner..

This is just what I needed for a return to sports after Achilles surgery. The one weak link, or so it seems to me, is the strap that goes under the shoe. It appears to me this would be a vulnerable spot if you were on a sidewalk, pavement or other hard surface. You need a shoe without a completely flat sole so this strap isn't hitting the ground with every step. All of my athletic shoes did have flat soles, but ones with a raised portion for the strap were easy enough to find.

I’ve only been wearing the brace for a week. It seems to be very good. It seemed to be very flimsy at first, but after putting it on, it gives my ankle of the support I need.

Haven't been able to use the brace yet, waiting for longer straps to go over the top of my shoe, but otherwise it looks like a good fit and will help me be able to walk farther than in my walking boot.

This brace is cheaply made. The quality of the product and materials used to make the brace are plastics that could easily bend and break. This brace is too expensive for the price. The brace is probably worth only 50% of the price (at most). Brace is not good for neurological conditions at all. This is an athletic brace for someone that can run and move about. I do not recommend for patients that have had strokes, spinal cord injuries, or anything of that nature because the brace isn’t sturdy enough or made to withstand the pressure that will be put on it. You will still need a customized AFO to use with it. Therefore, the is no use for the brace. I give this brace 2 stars because it’s not worth the price at all. If it was decently priced, then maybe I wouldn’t scored it higher, but I do not recommend.
