Won me over

Let me start off saying , I am a 70 year old male with difficulty walking. My ankle wants to turn over all the time.
I was skeptical about an over the shoe brace. They proved me wrong. Its very comfortable and definitely prevents rolling the ankle.
There is a learning curve to get it on correctly , but once you get it down it's effortless.

Walk! Don't Just Limp Along

Years of sports and misuse have led to arthritis in (literally) every joint of my left foot and ankle. Add worn out, snapped tendons and you have a recipe for pain, discomfort, and instability.

An orthopedic surgeon said his only recourse would be to fuse every joint in my foot. I asked for alternatives, and he told me the same thing my podiatrist had.

Get walking shoes with a slight rocker motion. Get specially made orthotics. Get a good ankle brace.

My podiatrist suggested trying a brace he had not yet prescribed. It was a higher profile TayCo. Later, he recommended Tayco's Athletic X model. Now, he prescribes TayCo braces.

New shoes + expertly designed orthotics + TayCo's Athletic X brace = almost pain free walking. And if they are good enough for CLEMSON, they are good enough for me. Go Tigers!

I've had problems with my ankle for 40 years this is the first thing I found that you could wear over shoes or boots and actually work and actually worked wish I had bought both Styles but I'm going to try to get the VA to pay for the next one

Good brace

I had surgery on my trimalleolar fracture and syndemosis rupture 7 weeks ago today. As I weaned out of a walking boot, I bought a tayco brace to protect my ankle at work. It does the job well. Pretty comfy for what it is. I think it works best on tennis shoes that do not cover the ankle. Hiking boots or higher cut shoes may be uncomfortable.

Life changing support

My 93-year-old grandmother suffered an ankle injury that was inoperable. She has been hobbling around in pain with an unsteady foot for years. We have tried many other ankle braces on the market, including a custom orthopedic leather brace. Nothing helped or gave her the support that she needed. I took a chance on the. Tayco over the shoe brace, and it is the only thing we have found that gives her the support and stability she needs to be able to walk. It has relieved a lot of her pain and discomfort, and given her more confidence in movement. We are ordering a second brace so she will have a back up. We also ordered some extra replacement parts, so we will have them on hand to replace worn pieces. Excellent company to work with, wonderful customer, service, and fast shipping.
