Acute XAB Brace

Known to medical providers as the original TayCo Brace. The Acute XAB Brace is a custom-fit, prescription-only product for injury recovery or long-term support. It can be used on over 250 indications for the ankle and hindfoot.

Our custom-built option is ordered by physicians and O&P shops and is ideal for those suffering from chronic ankle ailments such as PTTD or Charcot. The Custom Medical XAB Brace is prescribed for long-term (6+ months) use.

Much better than in-shoe brace!

Very easy to put on and take off! Fits all my shoes and boots, I don’t need to squash a lace up brace in the shoe. Works great with a taped ankle for extra support. Much more flexible front-to back than a lace-up brace.

Great, sturdy brace

This brace allows the foot to move up & down for walking but prevents sideway collapse. Fitting to the shoe verses to the foot is better allowing easy on and off of the same shoes normally worn.
