RecoverX Brace

The brace does a good job making sure I do not roll my ankle while doing yard work. The two bottom straps are rather long. The top two straps are ok, but I do not like the fact the other end of the straps are too much like the opposite end I am supposed to pull on. The ends could be made sturdier. The tag on the top strap is in a bad place. I had to cut it off, because it was raveling from the velcro. I cannot bend down very well due to back surgery, so this is inconvenient for me.

Awesome Brace…..

I have been using this brace for close to 2 weeks, cannot say enough good things about it. 1. Does not rub skin raw. 2 Ease of use when putting on. 3. It will not allow you ankle to roll. Far superior to the Ritchie Brace.

Excellent Brace

I recently received Tayco brace and have used it for the past week. It is excellent and does exactly what I need, support for a rebuilt ankle where I have no dorsiflexion.

Ankle brace on Appalachian Trail

Wanted to pass along how well the ankle brace performed on the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail. 10 days, 100 miles, up/down over rocky and dirt terrain, a couple of days in rain. Wore it over an Altra Timp shoe. I had several times when the brace kept my ankle from an inversion injury. It provided piece of mind and allowed me to enjoy the hike and not focus on my ankle. Fits when CAM boots don’t

I have wide calves and relatively small feet, so my podiatrist recommended this brace to use after surgery when we couldn’t find a CAM boot that fit. It is supportive and as comfortable as anything could be given the circumstances.
Great customer service too, I had to request longer straps and they sent them quickly for no extra cost.
